Tristan Sweater - Childrens sizes 2 - 10 years

This is a perfect choice for your FIRST EVER sweater!! (But you`ll enjoy it even if you are an experienced knitter!)

INFORMATION:

SIZES:
2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 years.

MEASUREMENTS:

Upper width: 67 - 71 - 76 - 82 – 87 cm / 26,4 - 28 -  30 - 32,3 - 34,4 inches

YARN AND YARDAGE:
«Smart» from Sandnes or equivalent yarn that will give you 18 stitches on needle size 4 or 4.5mm (US: 6) 

Base Color: 250 - 300 - 300 - 350 - 400 gram.

Two different pattern colors: 50 gram of yarn of each color regardless of size.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES:

Circular + set needles (double pointed needles) 3,5mm (US: 4) for the ribbed knitting, and circular + set needles 4.0 mm (US: 6) for the body and sleeves.

Please note: Knit a swatch to check your gauge, and choose needles accordingly.

Circular needles: the length of the needles depend on the size of the sweater. Small sizes require short circular needles.

18 stitches stockinette on needles 4.0 mm/US 6 = 10 cm/4 inches. We recommend that you knit a swatch to check your gauge

ACCESSORIES:

In this pattern we recommend using stitch markers to maintain control over your knitting. You may however use a small piece of colored yarn instead.
