Poncho - Norwegian Style

You`ll also learn how to alter this, for instance to knit a shorter neck, a longer body, create holes for the arms, and to make it into a long shawl (requires steeking). 

Yarn is not included.

YARN AND NEEDLES:

Needles 3 and 3,5 mm / US 2,4 and 4

+ crochet hook

Gauge/Tension:

23 stitches (stockinette) on needles 3,5 = approx 10 cm / 4 inches

Suggested yarn:

Peer Gynt, Smart, Viking Superwash or Viking Sportsragg

Yardage: 

Base color: 450 gram (but more if you want to make it longer)

Pattern colors: There are 3 pattern colors. You`ll need 100 gram of each.
